The National Guild for Community Arts Education is building a renewed membership experience designed for the realities of today’s field.
Community arts education is powered by teaching artists, administrators, organizational leaders, culture bearers, advocates, and partners who believe in the transformative impact of the arts. Yet many are navigating increasing pressures, limited resources, and a rapidly changing landscape.
The Guild believes that no one should have to navigate those challenges alone.
That’s why we are developing a new approach to membership—one that prioritizes connection, shared learning, and community over complexity.
Our vision is a membership experience that helps people:
- Connect with peers facing similar opportunities and challenges
- Learn from leaders and practitioners across the field
- Access timely resources and professional development
- Strengthen local, regional, and national relationships
- Contribute to a stronger, more connected arts education ecosystem
The renewed membership model is being shaped by conversations with teaching artists, arts organizations, Guild leaders, and community partners from across the country. Their experiences, insights, and aspirations continue to guide this work.
We are excited to share more in the coming weeks as we prepare to launch a new chapter of Guild membership.
Together, we’re building a community that supports the people who make arts learning possible.
Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for being part of the journey.
