Guild Essentials Series

Guild Essentials is a signature FY27 virtual and in-person learning series designed to support, connect, and strengthen the community arts education field during a period of ongoing change and rebuilding.

Through practical workshops, facilitated conversations, and peer learning opportunities, Guild Essentials brings together arts education leaders, teaching artists, administrators, funders, advocates, and practitioners to share knowledge, exchange strategies, and build stronger connections across the field.

Grounded in the Guild’s stabilization efforts, the series is designed to:

  • Provide timely and accessible professional learning opportunities
  • Create space for honest dialogue and peer exchange
  • Elevate practitioner and community voices
  • Strengthen national relationships across the arts education ecosystem
  • Reintroduce the Guild as a responsive, service-oriented organization

Sessions will feature national leaders, guest advocates, peer facilitators, and community-based practitioners exploring topics such as teaching artistry, organizational resilience, advocacy, fundraising, equity-centered practice, leadership development, and sustainability in the arts.

Guild Essentials will serve as an accessible entry point into the Guild’s broader FY27 ecosystem, connecting participants to regional convenings, affinity spaces, and future leadership opportunities.
