Community Conversations are casual, drop-in virtual meetings where you’re encouraged to bring the questions, challenges, and stories that are top-of-mind for you right now. Get support working through obstacles in your work, or even just a listening ear, from fellow community arts educators and arts administrators across the country. We’re all figuring things out together, and sometimes sharing what we’ve tried (and the learning that came out of it) makes all the difference.
Each Community Conversation is facilitated by a Guild staff member, in alignment with our Community Agreements. The conversations are not recorded, and the facilitator takes light notes in order to share key points with attendees afterwards, as well as to inform the Guild’s work so we can better respond to what you’re experiencing on the ground. It’s also a chance for Guild staff to connect with you, and you with us!
Spring Series: April to June 2022
From April to June 2022, we will hold the following conversations. Feel free to register for a conversation even if you aren't able to attend all three dates. Guild membership is not required.
Open to all who work in collegiate divisional schools.
Open to all who create and support arts programming for people aged 55+.
Open to all who work in arts and K-12 school partnerships.
Connect with the larger community arts education field from across the country and within other artistic disciplines.
We’re excited to see you! If you’re new to the Guild, please take a look at our Racial Equity Principles.
