Share your expertise with the field! The Guild is now inviting all arts education stakeholders to submit a session proposal for the 2018 Conference for Community Arts Education, the nation’s leading annual arts education gathering, to be held this year in Baltimore, November 14-17. The Conference provides support for expanding equitable access to arts learning opportunities in communities across the country.
Sessions cover a wide range of topics of import to community arts education and may take the form of workshops, lectures, program showcases, panel presentations, roundtables, and more. Past learning tracks have included Arts in Education, Community Partnerships, Leadership Development, Arts Management, Creative Youth Development, Creative Aging, Arts and Healing, Teaching Artist Development, and Social Justice.
All arts education stakeholders are encouraged to submit: practitioners, funders, youth, policy makers, academics, researchers, and other allies, including those in non-arts sectors (e.g., youth development, mental health, education, workforce development, etc.). You do not have to be a Guild member to submit a proposal.
Deadline to submit is April 27, 2018. Please review our Session Proposal Guidelines for more information and insights into the qualities of a successful proposal.
