Adam Sheldon
Director, Baldwin Wallace University Community Arts School, Berea, Ohio
Adam Sheldon is the Director of the Community Arts School at Baldwin Wallace University where he oversees community programming in the areas of dance, music, theatre and visual art. In addition, Sheldon is actively engaged in undergraduate and graduate teaching roles within the Arts Management program at Baldwin Wallace University and at Case Western Reserve University within the Mandel School for Social Sciences. Most recently, he was appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Dalcroze Society of America and continues to stay active as a member of the Cleveland Arts Education Consortium. Previously, Sheldon was the Operations and Finance Manager for the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (now Arts Cleveland) where he advocated for and supported individual artists through training programs and developed and implemented arts policy initiatives. In addition, Sheldon served for over 8 years as the executive director of SMART360, a comprehensive music and literacy program for 1st–4th grade students in the Akron Public School System in Northeast Ohio.
