CYD National Youth Network Meeting

Recurring, Weekly on Fridays

7:00 PM ET - 8:30 PM ET

NYN is a space for and by young artists ages 13-24 from all across the United States, to check in with each other, to share challenges and opportunities to thrive together. In the meetings they explore different ways to combine art forms and artistically express, share and create.

NYN is part of the Creative Youth Development (CYD) Movement. CYD is a movement committed to honoring youth people’s lived experiences and supporting their stories, ideas, and dreams through creative expression. With creativity, CYD also centers the values of Racial Equity and Social Justice, Youth Voice and Leadership, and Collective Action in and with the community. *This definition created by youth of the CYD movement.

This engagement is 1.5 hours long, and is open to all youth practitioners, teaching artists, and culture workers 13-24 years old. Adults are kindly asked to attend the CYD Community Conversations on the 4th Monday of every month.
