We are seeking an experienced leader who is passionate about our mission and vision
– and who can build on our strengths and help our organization grow.


The Executive Director will oversee, manage and implement key fundraising activities,
manage administrative staff, attain financial goals, oversee operations, develop new
donor and community relationships and work in collaboration with the Artistic Director
and Board of Directors to achieve the mission of BNC.


The right candidate will be a proven leader who is highly motivated, flexible, creative,
and proactive – and whose positive spirit can inspire others to financially support and
expand the awareness of BNC. This person will have demonstrated success in
collaborative work processes, developing high-performing teams and in balancing the
details of day-to-day management with achieving long-term goals.


What We Are Looking For:

  • A staff leader with a collaborative and inclusive style, who has successfully
    managed, evaluated and motivated staff
  • Financial management skills, including the ability to create, monitor and analyze
    budgets and financial statements – and use financial information to inform
    program decisions
  • Extensive experience in a director-level leadership position and experience with
    nonprofit organizations
  • A proven fundraiser who enjoys the process of raising money and has
    demonstrated success with a variety of fundraising strategies, including special
    events, grant writing, major gifts solicitation, and annual campaigns
  • Proven abilities to develop and implement strategies for increasing earned
    income revenue
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – including being a great listener
  • Experience in public speaking and presentations with a polished and professional
    style
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum of 5 years management/supervisory experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Passion for the Performing Arts


Compensation:

Salary range of $45,000-$48,000, commensurate with experience and
qualifications. Maximum Salary is $48,000 per year.
