Ryman Arts expanded to a second location this January at California State University, Fullerton in Orange County, making its classes more accessible to talented high school artists across southern California.  Their original location is on the campus of Otis College of Art & Design. Ryman Arts’ core program includes free out-of-school sequential studio courses that emphasize advanced drawing and painting skills, along with college and career planning. Ryman Arts is the only such program in southern California that is totally free and that selects participants solely on the basis of their ability and commitment. Through this initiative, they can double the number of students served from 300 to 600 a year and serve young artists from a much wider geographic area.

About Ryman Arts
Ryman Arts offers professional studio art instruction, free of charge, to artistic youth who are serious about a future in art. Students are challenged with rigorous drawing and painting classes, mentored by working artists, involved in community art activities, and inspired to build the skills, discipline and confidence for college and beyond.
