The Center of Creative Arts (COCA) is the focus of an article in the recent arts education edition of NEA Arts Magazine, the official magazine of the National Endowment for the Arts. The article, entitled "Dancing to Success," highlights COCA's dance honors program and its ability to "level the playing field." COCA partners with public schools and provides free and sliding scale tuition classes ensuring, as NEA Arts puts it, that "...all students have access to professional pathways, regardless of their background."

About the Center of Creative Arts
COCA is a non-profit organization providing an integrated forum to foster the appreciation of the arts in the greater St. Louis community by producing and presenting high quality performances, exhibitions, and educational programs. It is the largest multidisciplinary arts institution in the St. Louis region and has established itself as one of the premier community arts centers in the nation. COCA serves over 50,000 people each year in a variety of programs including 500+ arts education classes and camps in visual and performing arts for all ages at its University City campus and at schools throughout the metropolitan area.  The COCA Family Theatre Series presents top quality music, theatre, and dance from around the globe.
