At the invitation of State Representative David Vieira, two of the Cape Conservatory’s marquee ensembles will perform at the Massachusetts State House on Wednesday, December 6 at 12:15pm. The Cape Youth Chorale, led by Artist Director John Yankee, will perform highlights of their fall repertoire, including a medley of “Starlight”/”This Pretty Planet”/”America”; the Israeli lullaby, “Durme, Durme”; and the German Christmas carol, “Kling, Glöckchen”.

The Cape Youth Orchestra program, led by music directors Christopher Schroeder and David Gable, will perform in sectionals as well as a full philharmonic orchestra. Highlights will include the CYO Brass playing the seasonal favorite, “Let it Snow,” and a combined performance of the Youth Orchestra and Youth Chorale on “Carol of the Bells.” The concert is free and open to the public.
