In 2012, Kathy Davis Studios and her partners at American Greetings Corporation (NYSE: AM) launched a line of nine, beautifully illustrated “Support the Arts” cards to benefit the National Guild. Kathy Davis donates 100% of her proceeds from these cards to the Guild and American Greetings matches her contributions dollar for dollar. In 2012, their combined donations to the Guild totalled more than $28,000. We predict the total amount for 2013 will be approximately $38,000 - $40,000.

The National Guild was delighted to recognize the support of Kathy Davis Studios and American Greetings Corporation at its Annual Awards Luncheon on Saturday, November 2, at the 2013 Conference for Community Arts Education in Chicago.

"In an era in which funding for arts education is becoming increasingly scarce, Kathy Davis Studios and American Greetings' generosity is truly remarkable," said National Guild Associate Director Ken Cole. "Kathy Davis' mission, to 'Scatter Joy – Joy through Art, Joy through Living, Joy through Giving" aligns beautifully with the Guild's mission to support and advance access to lifelong learning opportunities in the arts and belief that involvement in the arts is essential to individual fulfilment and community life."

The Kathy Davis Birthday & Everyday card set is available for purchase online for $29.99 through American Greetings at http://bit.ly/Zo56GI. It is available in Kathy Davis displays in stores throughout the country, including Wegman’s, Rite Aid stores and select CVS stores.
