Pryor Named Executive Director of The Center for Arts Education

The Board of Directors of the Center for Arts Education announced on Monday the appointment of Eric G. Pryor as executive director. Pryor will lead the organization in its efforts to ensure that every New York City public school student has access to a quality arts education. Pryor is a seasoned arts executive who has provided leadership and advocacy for nonprofit arts organizations for more than fifteen years, with extensive experience in the development of multidisciplinary arts programming, education and curatorial programs.

Board Chair Jill E. Braufman said of Pryor, "He will be an effective leader of CAE and a passionate advocate for arts eduation who will inspire the students, educators, parents, elected officials and the other organizations with whom we partner."
