Jul 17, 2012

Throughout July, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) will host three webinars to talk with experts in creative placemaking about current trends, challenges, and policies in the field. These experts all served on the Our Town application review panels. The first webinar, "Crative Placemaking in Rural Communities" took place today at 4:00PM (EDT). Dates and topics of future webinars are listed below:

July 24: Creative Placemaking through Design and Cultural Planning
July 31: Creative Placemaking through Arts Engagement

Each webinar will run from 4:00 - 5:00 PM EDT and may be accessed at arts.gov, where the sessions will also be archived.  Each webinar will be moderated by NEA Design Director Jason Schupbach. Other participants will be announced shortly on the NEA website.
