Jul 06, 2016

On Wednesday, July 13, 3:00 PM ET, the NEA will present a free webinar on measuring outcomes in arts-based youth development programs. With presentations from Ayanna Hudson, NEA arts education director, Kathe Swaback, program director for RAW Art Works and Guild Ambassador, and Julia Gittleman, a Boston-based evaluation consultant, the webinar will focus on lessons learned from the Boston Youth Arts Evaluation Project (BYAEP) as well as the Youth Arts Impact Network.

For more than three years, BYAEP has worked on developing the framework and tools to measure the three main outcomes characteristic of youth arts programs: artistic expression (I Create), identity (I Am), and community (We Connect). Similarly, the Youth Arts Impact Network has brought together Boston-area youth arts organizations to establish and share best practices related to data gathering and measurement for youth-serving arts organizations.

To join the webinar, please register in advance through the NEA's website. The webinar will be archived at http://arts.gov/videos/webinars.
