« Back

Feb 24, 2012
New York, NY

Lincoln Center Institute (LCI) offers high-quality instruction in the development of skills of imagination, creativity, and innovation. This 5-day professional development workshop is an introductory-level immersion in LCI's experimental, inquiry-based approach to imaginative learning through aesthetic education. Any pre-K through 12 teacher, school and/or arts administrator, teaching artist, curriculum developer, or college/university professor may attend. Workshops will take place July 9-13, 2012, in NYC and on other dates at host sites around the country.

The International Educator Workshop will be presented exactly one year after LCI's first ever National Immagination Leadership Summit, which took place July 21-22, 2011, and was attended by Guild Executive Director, Jonathan Herman. Leaders from business, government, education, science, the arts, and other fields committed to giving American studetns the skills they need for success in the 21st century: imagination, creativity, and innovation. This year's workshop builds on the topics discussed at the summit.
