The 2014 Best Communities for Music Education survey has launched. Teachers, parents, school administrators and board members are invited to participate in the Best Communities for Music Education program for 2014 and complete a survey either for their district or school. The surveys are open now through Friday, January 17, 2014.

"The Best Communities for Music Education designation gave our district the opportunity to shine the spotlight on our outstanding music teachers, students, and community partners," said Heather Crocker, Director of Communications for Blaine County School District in Idaho.

In March 2013, the NAMM Foundation designated 307 school districts as Best Communities for Music Education and 66 individual schools received a SupportMusic Merit Award.
