Following up on Grantmakers in the Arts' Every Child, Every School: An Arts Education Funders Coalition Forum, on June 16, 2015 Janet Brown and Bob Morrison will host a web conference. During the web conference, entitled Data Revolution: Arts Education for Every Child, Every School, Janet Brown will reprise the highlights of the AEFC forum and Bob Morrison will explore how data, transformed into usable information, leads to increases in arts education.

The AEFC forum, attended by Guild Director of Program and Membership Strategy Heather Ikemire, looked at new research on foundation funding, successful examples of funder collaboratives, and evidence supporting the importance of data for arts education expansion. The web conference will build off of these topics, paying particular attention to the "data revolution" highlighted by Bob Morrison's forum discussion. Looking at real-world examples of how data can contribute to systemic reform, Bob Morrison will unpack the importance of robust data if the arts education field is going to provide access to the arts for “every child, every school.” Attending the web conference is free for the staff and board of GIA members, and $35 for nonmembers.
