The Berklee City Music Network (BCMN) has announced their second annual Network conference, co-hosted by Stax Music Academy. The conference will take place October 29-31 in Memphis, TN. This year's theme is "American Popular Music: The Untold Story."

The BCMN Conference will give network members the opportunity to explore themes and topics on American popular music that directly relate to work in providing access to a quality and diverse music education for students in underserved communities.

Featuring expert speakers in the field of music education, the conference will include panel discussions, workshops, separate learning tracks for educators and administrators, with special receptions.  Keynote addresses from renowned and historic figures include: Al Bell, David Wish, and a Master Class with the Master of P-Funk - Dr. George Clinton.
